I know I got really bad at this blog thing. Hopefully I will do better for the rest of the year. Here are a few quick updates for what has been going on since January.
Jake: Got his Bachelor Degree this spring and we couldn't be any happier for him. All his hard work has paid off, but he jumped right into his Masters without a break so that has really kept him busy. He has also started a great job and will be leaving that soon for an even better one! Patience really does work!
Amber: Right now, I am 6 months pregnant, making the Powell Family count up to 4 kids (yes this is it this time!).
Chase Alexander Powell will be here on November 23rd, 2010.
Everyone is really excited for the new addition. I have also left my job in June and have and continue to be a stay at home mom. I really love it!
Hope: Is getting ready to start the 3rd grade (!!!!!!) and her and her mom are moving back to Virginia soon. She has been busy with dance and camps and we are really proud of her!
JT: Will start the 1st grade and is excited about it. He has lost a total of 5 teeth already and have a few more ready to come out. He has the best smile right now because the 2 top teeth and 3 front teeth on the bottom are gone. Poor guy, though, can't eat like he use too and gets frustrated.
Kayla: STARTS KINDERGARTEN!!!!! I can't believe it! She is really excited to learn how to read. She gets upset now because the older ones can and it bothers her. On her 5th birthday, she wanted her ears pierced so that's what happened. Only because she talked about for the last year and half. She did really great though and I think I cried more than she did.
The whole gang is getting ready to move to Charles Town, WV, for Jake's new job. We can't wait for the move. Bigger house with 2 bathrooms (JT's favorite)!!!
I will get some pictures of the new house and adventure soon. We are actually moving this weekend (Aug 20) because the kids start school on Monday! So things are pretty crazy but I guess it wouldn't be life if it wasn't!
