Six Year Anniversary!!

Jake and I are celebrating our 6 year anniversary!! So for our anniversary I ordered some cakes from the bakery in the restaurant. I told Barb, the baker, how I wanted to do something fun for one of the cakes. She suggested that she could make a Turkey Sub cake for Jake, since earlier that week he was complaining about all he ate was turkey sandwiches. So here are the two very beautiful cakes that she made for us:

Mint Chocolate Chip Cheesecake: the crust is made of thin mints!!

I cannot wait to eat these two delicious cakes!! Barb you did a fantastic job!!

Update on My Saga!

Today was another BEAUTIFUL day so the kids and I went outside o play after dinner. The dog was running around the yard and the kids started to chase him. Well guess what they found? The piles of leaves that I spent two hours raking! Here are some of my favorite photos from that event.

Fighting a Loosing Battle

Since it was so nice outside (74˚), I thought that while the kids played outside I would get some yard work done. We were outside for two hours and as you can see in the photo I did fairly well. But that's not even a quarter of our lawn that needed raking.

Not only do I have the problem about raking but the piles need to be picked up as well. Sometimes home ownership really stinks!!!
